Together We Remember Organized by CSEAS Honors Khmer Rouge Victims and Survivors

Together We Remember!

On April 18-19, 2024, in remembrance of the deceased and survivors of the Khmer Rouge Regime, our students, along with Dr. Theresa de Langis, organized an exhibition called “Together We Remember”.

The exhibition located on AUPP Campus Grounds features the student’s Oral History Exhibition, the Exhibition Bus of the Extraordinary Chambers of the Courts of Cambodia (ECCC), and was later highlighted by an Intergenerational Dialogue with Survivors of the regime.

Furthermore, On Saturday the 20th, our students participated in a study tour of the Toul Sleng Genocide Museum to deepen their understanding and learn firsthand about the history of the regime.

We would like to give our appreciation to Dr. Theresa, the students from the LEGL 380 (Genocide Studies) class, and the Students Advisory Committee from CSEAS (Center for Southeast Asian Studies) for organizing this exhibition. Furthermore, we would also like to express our gratitude to the ECCC for their contributions.
