AUPP Programs Model
AUPP offers 8 degree programs or majors: Architecture, Business, Civil Engineering, Global Affairs, Information Technology Management, Law, and Tourism & Hospitality Management.
The Architecture, Global Affairs and Law majors are Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree programs. The Business, Civil Engineering, Information Technology Management major are Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree programs. The Tourism & Hospitality Management major is a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree program.
AUPP also offers three minors – Economics, Law and Southeast Asian Studies.
AUPP uses the unit system. Each unit is equivalent to one hour of lecture per week for each week of the semester. Laboratory courses require two hours of laboratory per week per semester for each unit. In addition, students are expected to spend approximately two to three hours outside of class studying for each hour in class. The academic year is divided into two semesters of 15 weeks each. A minimum of 124 units is required to earn a Bachelor of Arts, a Bachelor of Business Administration, A Bachelor of Fine Arts, or a Bachelor of Science degree from AUPP. A student must complete the General Education requirements and all the requirements of a major program with a GPA of at least 2.00.
