The American University of Phnom Penh (the University) reserves the right to modify, suspend, discontinue or merge programs of study. In such events, the University will be guided by the following: If the University has not made an offer of admission or before an applicant has accepted the offer the University will inform applicants at the earliest opportunity of the discontinuation or change; and offer the applicant the opportunity to withdraw his application, with a full refund of all fees paid.

If the University has already made an offer of admission which has been accepted but student has not yet enrolled, the student may either withdraw and be given an appropriate refund of all fees paid; or transfer the application to another available program for which the student is qualified.

If a student has enrolled, the University will use reasonable efforts to teach out the program, but cannot guarantee to do so. If the University cannot teach out a program of study, it will use reasonable efforts to facilitate the transfer of a student to an equivalent program for which the student is qualified within the University or at another institution.
