Ms. Suseela Sheila Husin began her professional career working in the travel industry, developing her interpersonal and critical thinking skills while being exposed to different cultures of the world. 

She found herself drawn to social and environmental responsibility and her focus switched to training and she was privileged to teach Business English to university graduates, under the government of Malaysia employability scheme (GEMS). 

She helped set up an IELTS testing centre and oversaw Materials and Curriculum Development in the English Department at the International University of Malaya-Wales in Kuala Lumpur while as a lecturer.

She holds a Master of Art in Tesol from the University of Nottingham, obtained a Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA) and has undergone a Train the Trainer course. 

Suseela values coaching, advocating, mentoring, and watching an individual student’s long-term growth. She applies her world experience to her classroom, facilitating student engagement through developing their critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. Her areas of interest include, General and Business English, and soft skills training. 

Her greatest achievement is travelling through the Himalayas and Mt K2, via the treacherous Karakorum Highway and the Kunjerab Pass in Pakistan, finishing at the border of Xinjiang region of China.  

She developed a love for sports that require quick decisions under intense time pressure, and she competed in the Australian Rules Touch Rugby national tournaments in South East Asia. Currently she likes to take life easy and loves to venture out on a bicycle, exploring all areas of Phnom Penh.
