    Dr. Sothie Keo is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Law at AUPP. He is also a licensed lawyer both in the State of Colorado and the Kingdom of Cambodia. He is currently a Legal Officer for the Civil Party Lead Co-Lawyers Section, representing Civil Parties and victims in proceedings before the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia, also known as the Khmer Rouge Tribunal. He also manages Keo Law Firm, a boutique law firm that specializes in corporate and commercial matters in Cambodia. Prior to settling down in Phnom Penh, he served as a criminal defense trial lawyer for the Office of the Colorado State Public Defender.

    Dr. Keo’s interest is in international law, both public and private, and human rights. During law school, he developed these interests working for the International Criminal Court, Human Rights Watch, and the International Arbitration Group of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Singapore.
