Riccardo Corrado received his Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering from the University of Trieste (Italy) in 2009 where he also received (2011) his Master’s Degree in Telecommunications Engineering. In 2012 he passed the Italian national board exam for information engineering, organized by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR). In the same University, in 2016, Riccardo was awarded his Ph.D. in Information Engineering, with research topic video and audio transmission over IEEE 802.11 ad-hoc networks. In 2021, Riccardo was awarded a Master’s Degree in Education (MEd – ICT in Education) from the University of Johannesburg (South Africa) with a dissertation focused on the implementation of MOOCs in Cambodian higher education curriculum. Riccardo’s research interests involve video encoding, wireless ad hoc networking, ICT in education, and ICT for development. Riccardo is a member of the “Think Next, Act Next – The Next Gen EU-ASEAN Think Tank Dialogue” (EANGAGE), funded by the European Union (EU). Currently, Riccardo is an assistant professor at the American University of Phnom Penh (AUPP) and advisor to the Cambodian Ministry of Post and Telecommunications (MPTC).
