Congratulations to our sophomore student, Longwei Ngor, majoring in ITM, and his team, Erben, for their remarkable achievement in passing the Final Country Round of Asean-China-India Youth Leadership Summit 2023 (ACIYLS).
The ACIYLS is a dynamic platform that unites youths across ASEAN, China, and India to tackle the most pressing sustainability challenges of our time. The Summit features a curated programme of activities based on the theme “Sustainability – Urban Living,” such as the Sustainability Quest, Forum, Startathon Grand Finals, and more.
The final topic of the competition was problem statement SDG 12, Greener Hotels. His team, Erben, pitch was to turn plastic waste into the hotel amenities instead of using single use plastic.
Out of 400 participants from 16 universities, Longwei’s team emerged as one of the top three winning teams and will be represent Cambodia in the Grand Final in Singapore!
We are immensely proud of Longwei and his team and wish them the very best as they embark on their journey to the international round.
