American University of Phnom Penh has reopened for the Fall semester 2020 on October 5, 2020. The Covid-19 crisis has introduced some changes to the regular pattern of the year. Our campus has implemented the Ministry guidelines to ensure a safe environment for our students and staff.

  • Round 1 application deadline is October 29, 2020
  • Round 2 application deadline is December 11, 2020

Note: Due to Covid-19 closure, the deadline of the application in round 2 will be extended to January 4, 2021.

American University of Phnom Penh is accepting local and international students who meet the minimum Master’s admission criteria. Students applying to AUPP for a Master’s degree are required to submit all necessary documentation for admission and have acceptable scores and grades in their previous education. AUPP is happy to provide education to students from different backgrounds and cultures. International students help to enhance the learning environment and collegiate experience.

Eligibility for Admission

Requirements

The minimum requirements for admission to AUPP MBA degree are as follows:

  • An earned bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher based on a 4.0 scale.
  • Minimum IELTS (Academic Module) score of 6.0 (with no individual skill band below 6.0), or TOEFL equivalent score (at least 79), or English Placement Test.
  • Admission Interview
  • Work experience and/or completed the requisite Business Foundations courses if you have non-business degree.
  • Personal statement and Curriculum Vitae must be submitted
  • A completed application for admission submitted by the application deadline. Late applications will be automatically moved to the next cycle.
  • Official transcript(s) from all colleges and universities attended. Transcripts should be sent directly from your university.

Complete Online Application and Submit All Required Documents

Applicants must complete an online application form. Please visit this site: https://sisaupp.com/masters-online-application. Applicants should attach all required documents by using the application online form and bring your original documents to verify.

Pay Application and English Placement Fees

  • Application Fee: $25
  • English Placement Test fee: $15

Note:  Applicants who have the requisite IELTS or TOEFL score do not need to take the English Placement Test, and only need to pay the application fee.

Schedule Placement Test and Admission Interviews

Once applicants have made the payment of the application requirement, please consider the following based on the applicant information:

  • TOEFL or IELTS: Applicants will be invited to interview with a member of our faculty. Interviews take place after the Admissions Office has received your application and fee. We offer on-campus interview.
    • TOEFL Applicants must provide the AUPP TOEFL Institutional Code (B027) to the Test Center, and ask the Center to send the score report directly to the Registrar, American University of Phnom Penh, PO Box 1955, Phnom Penh Postcode 120000, Cambodia Post, Cambodia.
    • IELTS Applicants submit a copy of the score report.
  • English Placement Test: Applicants will need to schedule the English Placement test date; then, complete an interview with our faculty. Interviews take place after the Admissions Office has received your application and fee. We offer on-campus test and interview.

Enroll and Register for Classes

Students will receive an Admission Offer Letter by email. The university will be unable to process student applications until the applicants accept the Admission Offer Letter. Course schedule and tuition invoice will be sent out through students’ personal email. Students need to confirm their courses and pay tuition in order to finish the registration process.

Note: Students should check their inbox and junk folders if they have not received the Admission Offer Letter within 2 weeks, after completing the interview.
