Dr. Hayo Reinders (www.innovationinteaching.org) is Director of the Institute for Teacher Leadership. His work focuses on developing scalable models of professional practice that strengthen leadership pipelines across ministries, institutions, and NGOs worldwide.
With over 200 publications and 34 books on technology-mediated learning, teacher leadership, and sustainable education systems, Dr. Reinders bridges research, policy, and practice across sectors. He has led several government-level reform initiatives, including the design of language support policies for Māori and Pacific Island students in New Zealand and a current UNESCO-supported project on sustainable learning to inform curriculum guidelines.
Dr Reinders is Founding Editor of Innovation in Language Learning & Teaching and Language Learning & Technology, and regularly advises governments, multilateral organizations, and edtech ventures on systemic education reform. His work emphasizes the development of flexible, community-embedded leadership models responsive to the complex demands of global education futures.
