General FAQs

1. When will the school reopen for Spring Semester 2022?

  • AUPP will reopen for in-person classes on Monday, January 10, 2022.
  • Classes for Freshmen start on Tuesday, February 2, 2022.

2. What class schedule will we follow and will there still be an option to do online classes?

  • Most classes will be on campus with some exceptions for large classes and special faculty arrangements.
  • Check your schedule in SIS – the “Classroom” field will indicate either the class is online or on-campus.
  • Hybrid option will be available for those students who present with short-term health-related challenges or personal reasons that prevent them from coming to campus.

3. Will the canteen be open?

Yes, the canteen is open. Students may bring their own meals and eat it in the canteen, or in other designated areas around campus. Should students prefer to have breaks outside of campus, there is no need to fill-up the HDF form again if they come back on campus the same day.

4. Where can students go / stay in between classes?

The Center for Student Involvement, Library and Canteen will be open for any students who wish to stay on-campus between classes. Safety protocols should continue to be observed while in these areas.

5. Will the sports center and other student activity areas be open for students?

The sports center will be open for students and staff, subject to scheduling. The student activity areas will be open for Spring Semester 2022.

6. Can I go to the CSI to study or connect with other students?

Yes! You may now use the majority of the Center for Student Involvement spaces to study and connect with other students. The CSI will have a check in QR code available for you to scan throughout the open rooms, to ensure your continued safety by being able to trace the daily traffic.

7. Can I still participate in campus activities?

Yes! You may now use the majority of the Center for Student Involvement spaces to study and connect with other students. The CSI will have a check in QR code available for you to scan throughout the open rooms, to ensure your continued safety by being able to trace the daily traffic.
