Phnom Penh, 15 August 2025 – The Cambodian Librarians Association (CLA), in collaboration with the libraries of the American University of Phnom Penh (AUPP), the Institute of Technology of Cambodia (ITC),
the Royal University of Law and Economics (RULE), and CamEd Business School successfully organized a one-day professional workshop entitled “From Books to Bytes: Essential Cataloguing Techniques and AI Tools for Modern Libraries.”
The workshop gathered more than fifty participants, including librarians, archivists, educators, researchers, and technology specialists, to strengthen professional skills and explore the integration of traditional cataloguing methods with emerging artificial intelligence (AI) tools.
