Riccardo Corrado, Ph.D.

Dr. Riccardo Corrado is an Associate Professor at the School of Digital Technologies at the American University of Phnom Penh.

Dr. Corrado received his bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, and Ph.D. in respectively Electronics, Telecommunications, and Information Engineering from the University of Trieste, Italy. In 2021, Riccardo was awarded a master’s degree in education from the University of Johannesburg, South Africa, and in 2023, he was awarded an MBA with a concentration in Business Analytics from Abertay University, UK.

His research interests relate to digital skills development, IT applications for sustainable development, and the digital transformation of Cambodian’s Public and Private sectors, with an interest in the new space economy.

Dr. Corrado also serves as an advisor to the Cambodian Ministry of Post and Telecommunications and a senior research fellow at the Asian Vision Institute.
