Dr. Nadine Morris is an Economist, specializing in International Trade and Development. She also holds a degree in Accounting and Management. Dr. Morris started her career as a university instructor in the United States but has spent most of her time in academia in Asia, recently completing 12 years in China. She is an advocate of academic excellence and has founded honor societies and similar initiatives geared towards promoting student success. Dr. Morris has taught Microeconomics, International Economics, and Economic Development, enriching course content and delivery by incorporating current topical issues into her instruction, guiding students in effective industry applications. As an administrator, Dr. Morris has worked in the areas of grants and sponsored programs as Deputy Director of a research center. A leader with high expectations and integrity, she recently completed an appointment as Assistant Dean of Academic Affairs at a joint US China university program. She has also served as International Student Coordinator, recruiting and engaging students from diverse cultures and backgrounds. Dr. Morris’ research interest lies in the areas of Environmental and Health Economics, with a focus on developing countries. Conversational in Mandarin, Dr. Morris enjoys cultural immersion and exchanges.
