Prior to joining AUPP, Dr. Jose Mora served in the US Coast Guard for eleven years. He taught Political Science at the University of Connecticut-Stamford and Intelligence Studies at the American Military University.

Dr. Mora is currently a Professor of Global Affairs at AUPP where he teaches Comparative Politics, International Relations, International Security, Globalization, among many other courses. His areas of interest include intelligence, transnational threats, religion and politics, Latin America, Southeast Asia, and foreign policy.
