Professor Firend Alan Rasch, holds a Ph.D in applied management and decision science (USA) MSc in Technology Management from California (USA). Dr. Rasch is a prominent scholar and expert in Southeast Asian region. Worked as management consultant with McKinsey & Company, KPMG, and Anderson Consulting, advising U.S. Fortune 500 companies, an expertise that provided him with an insight into various industries and technology development in the Silicon Valley.
Co-founded Micro-Fuzz Technologies, a Canadian start-up that was sold to IBM. Held various academic and administrative positions, and lectured in numerous countries including USA, Korea, Malaysia, Qatar, UAE, and the UK, in the fields of information systems, technology and Artificial Intelligence. 20+ years of experiences combining both East and West, his insight and interpretation of current and future technological development outlooks are of importance to marketers and policy makers. Served on the board of directors of two Asian companies, an active consultant and researcher.
