David Moser, J.D.

Dr. David Moser is a Professor of Law and Dean of Law & Global Affairs at American University of Phnom Penh. He is also a Professor of Practice for the University of Arizona. Dr. Moser joined AUPP in 2015 and has helped the institution to develop its law program, including the dual degree law program with the University of Arizona.

Before joining AUPP, Dr. Moser taught in China at Xiamen University of Technology and in the United States at Middle Tennessee State University and Belmont University. He was also a visiting scholar at Lingnan University in Hong Kong and a Fulbright Scholar in the Philippines. Dr. Moser also worked as an attorney in the United States specializing in intellectual property and entertainment law. He is a co-author of Music Copyright Law published by Cengage Learning and has been a speaker/panelist for the ASEAN Intellectual Property Academy and ASEAN Secretariat Workshop on Copyright Law and Enforcement.

In his spare time, Dr. Moser enjoys reading, watching movies, listening to music, traveling, and photography. One of his ambitions, yet to be fulfilled, is to write a historical fiction novel.
