David Moser is a Professor of Law at American University of Phnom Penh and Chair of the law program. He is also a Professor of Practice for the University of Arizona. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree and a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from the University of Memphis. Professor Moser joined AUPP in 2015 and has helped to develop the law program, including the dual degree with the University of Arizona.

Before joining AUPP, Moser taught in China and in the United States. at Middle Tennessee State University and Belmont University. He was also a visiting scholar at Lingnan University in Hong Kong, and a Fulbright Scholar in the Philippines. As an attorney in the United States., Moser specialized in intellectual property and entertainment law and is a co-author of Music Copyright Law published by Cengage Learning.

In his spare time, Moser enjoys reading, movies, music, traveling and photography. One of his ambitions, yet to be fulfilled, is to write a historical fiction novel.
