COVID-19 Guidelines
COVID-19 Procedure Changes
As part of AUPP’s goal to return to “normal” (pre-COVID-19) university life, our procedures with regard to COVID-19 safety precautions have changed. The specific changes are as follows:
It is no longer required that masks be worn on campus although it is still recommended.
You no longer have to fill out the online health declaration on SIS before coming to AUPP.
For Spring 2023 semester, it is currently expected that all classes will be on-campus although there may be a few exceptions approved by management.
For the rest of Fall 2022, classes remain as scheduled by the Registrar. So, for example, if a class is scheduled online rather than in a classroom, it will remain online until the end of this semester. If a class is scheduled to be held on campus, it will continue to be held on campus.
If someone tests positive for COVID-19, you should isolate and not come to campus for 5 days. At the end of 5 days, you should self-test and, if negative, you can return to campus. If someone else in a class that you are in tests positive, you should take a self-test and if the result is positive, isolate for 5 days. Anyone that does not test positive should come to campus for classes.
Although we hope that the worst of the COVID-19 pandemic is behind us and that the changes specified above will remain in effect, if things change and health risks increase, we may need to change our procedures in order to make AUPP as safe as we can.
