AUPP Students Depart for Graduation in the United States

Seven recent Cambodian graduates of the American University of Phnom Penh (AUPP) traveled to the United States to receive their dual degree diplomas from one of that country’s most prestigious universities.

This is the first time ever for AUPP students to be directly conferred a degree by the University of Arizona (UA) – a U.S. partner university of AUPP.  UA and AUPP collaborate to ensure high-quality education for students at AUPP in Cambodia without the need to travel to the United States and pay the significant cost of a US degree.

AUPP is the only university in Cambodia that offers students the option to earn fully accredited U.S. degrees; one of which is from AUPP and the other from one of AUPP’s U.S. partner universities; the University of Arizona (UA) or Fort Hays State University (FHSU).

After successfully completing all courses at AUPP in Cambodia, students can earn their US university degree. If they choose, students can also complete their degree at one of AUPP’s U.S. partner universities instead.

Most of the seven students who attended graduation at UA studied Business Administration, which is the most popular major in Cambodia.

AUPP offers a wide range of majors to students, including Business, Law, Civil Engineering, Information Technology Management, Tourism Management and Hospitality, Architecture, and Global Affairs.
