AUPP Outstanding Students to Join “Huawei Seeds for the Future Program 2020”

The American University of Phnom Penh (AUPP) is proud to congratulate four of our outstanding students, who have been selected for “Huawei Seeds for the Future Program 2020,” to be held from November 2-6, 2020.

The program aims to develop and cultivate local Information and Communications Technology (ICT) professionals through in-depth learning of ICT industry and Huawei’s technical advantages; enhance knowledge transfer; promote a greater understanding and interest in the telecommunications sector; as well as improving and encouraging regional building and participation in the digital community.

“Seeds for the Future Program 2020” is a 5-day online program. Selected candidates must participate in 6.5-hour mandatory courses, 6.5-hour live-streamed courses and another 1-hour elective course.

Candidates are also encouraged to learn more about China, the world’s most technologically advanced country, as they can access additional resources for self-learning.

At least 40 Cambodian university students have joined the program since 2016. They were trained and awarded certificates at Beijing Language and Culture University and by Huawei headquarters at Shenzhen.
