Information Technology Faculty

Reports To: Faculty Program Chair for Information and Communications Technology
Schedule:  Full-time
Begin: Spring 2023 (January 2023)/ Fall 2023 (August 2023)

We seek applications from candidates with a master’s degree with industry experience or a Ph.D. in Computer Science/Information Technology/Software Engineering, Data Science, or similar disciplines from an American or Western university. *Priority consideration will be given to applicants with industry experience and teaching experience (in-person and online). Applicants are also expected to have proficient working knowledge using Learning Management Software with a preference for Canvas Learning Management System.

Required Areas of Expertise:

Full-Stack Engineering & Mobile App Development.
Software Requirements, Analysis, Design, and Software Testing.
Operating Systems.
Able to program and instruct in the following programming languages of R, Python, Java, C++, and SQL.
Familiarity with online computing resources and cloud technologies.
Comfortable with several classroom technological applications.
Applicants should be able to teach various technology courses and aid in creating and updating the ICT (Information and Communications Technology) program curriculum. They will prepare for the AUPP single-degree program.
We are actively engaged in the campus community, not limited to taking part in campus committees. Our faculty have experienced student activities: competition, new student orientation, and academic advising.
