HR Compliance Officer

Location:  Phnom Penh, Cambodia

Job Summary

The HR Compliance Officer’s responsibilities include evaluating compliance activities and acting as a liaison between the organization and various government agencies. The role holder is also responsible for entry all new/leaving staff in the systems-BIPO, Safety Net, LACMS, and FWCMS.

Job Responsibilities

Be responsible for company offices registration required by MoLV in LACMS
Communicate with staff to fulfill required legal issues (health checkup, workbook, work permit, NSSF registration)
Request quota and work permit for expat staff
Prepare staff move in/out report and submit to MoVT through LACMS and FWCMS
Renew compliance requirement such as shop steward (Staff Representative) following timely basis
Response for renew visa for expat staff
Prepare needed legal documents by embassies to support expat staffs to move to Cambodia
Deal with the inspector from Ministry of Labor
Staff workbook, health checkup, entry into system
Register new staff into SafetyNet system and remove staff leaving from system
Entry staff data into HR System (BIPO) and monitor when there is any change
Prepare and file compliance reports
Track and respond to complaints
Identifying, investigating, and reporting compliance issues, irregularities, and violations
Handle employee issues with related ministries
Monitor stamping and record all the documents stamped
Prepared needed letters such as Work Certificate, Salary Letter, and others requested by employees.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Management, Administrative, or related fields
At least 2 years of progressive experience compliance and staff data management in HR Information Systems and other systems
Proven work experience as a Compliance Officer or similar roles
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with strong follow through
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Documentation and reporting skills
Good interpersonal and Computer (Word, Excel, PPT, HRIS) skills
Good commands in English and Khmer (writing, listening, and speaking)
Self-motivated and enthusiastic in continuous learning of new skills
Ability to work under pressure and consistently meet deadlines.
