AUPP New Student Orientation for Spring 2024!

The American University of Phnom Penh (AUPP) welcomed a new batch of students at the School of Digital Technologies on February 7th, 2024. The transformative higher education journey began with a comprehensive orientation program, where the Dean of Information Technology, Dr. Tek Ming, set a positive tone by extending a heartfelt welcome. Dr. Ming emphasized AUPP’s commitment to nurturing academic growth within a stimulating and supportive learning environment.

Associate Vice President Dr. Raymond Leos added inspiration to the orientation, passionately highlighting AUPP’s dedication to providing a world-class education that extends beyond textbooks. Encouraging critical thinking, innovation, and cultural awareness, Dr. Leos urged students to embrace diversity and actively shape their educational journey.

The orientation also introduced students to extracurricular activities facilitated by the Students Affairs Department, emphasizing holistic development beyond academics. The exploration of clubs, societies, and events fostered a sense of community among the students.

Additionally, students gained insights into student life and future events through the Student Government, representing student interests and showcasing its dynamic and proactive nature. The Registrar’s Office played a crucial role in guiding freshmen through administrative processes, ensuring a smooth transition by providing information on course registration, academic deadlines, and the importance of maintaining accurate records.

The AUPP New Student Orientation marked a significant milestone for the incoming students, solidifying the university’s commitment to holistic development.
