Meet Meas Sothyro, an AUPP graduate from the Class of 2022, who has turned his passion for technology into a career in cybersecurity. With a Bachelor of Science in Information and Communication Technology and a minor in Software Engineering, Sothyro’s journey is marked by significant achievements.
Sothyro co-founded the ”Puthi” campaign to enhance cybersecurity awareness among university students across Cambodia, impacting over five institutions and supported by Google Digital Literacy. Additionally, he mentored the Cambodian team at the World Robotics Olympiad, showcasing his commitment to community development. Reflecting on his career path, Sothyro currently serves as a penetration tester at Canadia Bank, where he specializes in mobile and web application security, along with social engineering simulations.
He encourages AUPP students to explore multiple areas of technology to find their true passions. By fostering a spirit of curiosity and experimentation, he believes students can make informed career choices aligned with their interests.
