Abdullah Altrad

Dr. Abdullah Altrad is an Associate Professor of Information Technology Management at the American University of Phnom Penh. Prior to joining AUPP in August 2020, Altrad was a faculty member of the Faculty of Computer  and Information Technology at Almadinah International University in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Dr. Altrad is a committed educator and researcher. He utilizes his knowledge, teaching experiences, and advanced research techniques in computer networks and cloud computing to inspire and engage students in the learning of information technology and scientific researches. His academic and research interests include computer networks, cloud computing, internet of things, cybersecurity and disrupted system, data communication, network performance analysis, and machine learning. He has worked on a research project and participated in several conferences and workshops.Particularly, he has presented various research papers and a book chapter under Powerline Communication Network.

Dr. Altrad always keeps up with his area of expertise through reading books and journals, attending seminars, and taking occasional online training courses. During his spare time, he and his spouse enjoy hiking, swimming, trying different Asian cuisines, and visiting many tourist attractions.
