AUPP Programs Model
AUPP offers 8 degree programs or majors: Business, Global Affairs, Information Technology Management, Law, Architecture, Computer Science, Interior Design, and Tourism & Hospitality Management. The Law, Global Affairs, Architecture, and Interior Design majors are Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree programs. The Business, Information Technology Management, Computer Science, and Tourism & Hospitality Management majors are Bachelor of Science (BS) degree programs. AUPP also offers two minors; Liberal Studies and Economics. AUPP uses the unit system. Each unit is equivalent to one hour of lecture per week for each week of the semester. Laboratory courses require two hours of laboratory per week per semester for each unit. In addition, students are expected to spend approximately two to three hours outside of class studying for each hour in class. The academic year is divided into two semesters of 15 weeks each. A minimum of 124 units is required to earn a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science degree from AUPP. A student must complete the General Education requirements and all the requirements of a major program with a GPA of at least 2.00.
